This review is from: Flip-Pal mobile scanner (Electronics) I ordered one of these 2 months before they were equipped to ship. I had been looking for something like this for at least two years to take with me to the store to scan references. I am 64 and have problems with the nerves in my hands that make my handwriting degenerate quickly – and I despise standing in line for the scanner when I could be doing more investigate. My Flip-Pal takes care of that and more. I scan the references, take them home and place them into the computer with the micro card, and then… the trick … I run it owing to my OCR program, and it’s typed automatically into my file. With a modest comparative editing, I’m done. It is possible to use the wand scanner in a similar make. I have one, I’ve compared them. This review is from: Flip-Pal mobile scanner (Electronics) I got my flip-pal scanner last week in the first shipment of this wonderful new product! I have been using it this week while on a visit to out of state family. I have been able to scan over 100 of ancient, ancient family photos in less than an hour while they were subdue in the frames and matting! It is so quick and simple I could not believe it. The scanner is light and portable and fits easily in my airline carry on. This scanner has allowed me to save and share family photos that would if not be lost to most of the family. I am thrilled with this product that can also perform habitual scanning and can scan 3D items too. No, I am not affiliated with the company in any way — I wish I was though since this venture is sure to be a success! It is the best! They market it for family history scanning but it has a million business and private uses too. Scan ancient recipe cards or pet recipes in cookbooks so you don’t have to type it in the computer. Make a record of your family jewelry, medals, vital ID for indemnity and legal purposes and whatever you choose with ease. I like this business! |
